WoW Forever test wipe and name reservations
What happens to stress-test characters, guilds and names.
Test progress is temporary
The announcement says stress-test characters, names and guilds will be removed after the test. Plan the session as a test rather than permanent progression.
Reservations are separate
The notice describes name reservations from October 27 to November 3 for eligible pre-purchases. Stress-test participation does not reserve a name. Check the current offer and eligibility on Blizzard before buying for this purpose.
Do not promise a particular name
The announcement says availability is first-come, first-served and desired names are not guaranteed. A fan website cannot hold one for you.
